ang hirap. sobra. almost every year, i come here at states. pero for the second time i think.. ngaun lang ulit ako na-jetlag. tama ba spelling? anyway, un na nga. i've been having a hard time switching my morning to evening and vice versa. you see. we are in the east coast. the difference between the time here and in the philippines is exactly, 12 hours. meaning, pag umaga sa pinas.. gabi dito. so advanced ang date sa philippines ng half day, kesa sa time dito. ang hirap mag-adjust. pero since naka one week na ko dito. i was finally over that. buti naman. those were the sleepless nights.

anyway, here are the updates. the days here are based here in states.

MAY 16, TUESDAY. we were off to new york. we left the house at 8am and we arrived in new jersey (where we checked in) at 1pm. ang galing nga e. kasi sa new jersey kami nag-check in ng hotel, tas mga 5mins drive lang, nasa new york ka na. coolness db? pagkadating namin, naglunch kami. tas balik sa hotel. we rested for a while. mga ilang hours after, we went to the jersey gardens. akala ko, garden as in garden na madaming flowers. un pala, gardens as in outlet mall. kakaiba talaga. sobrang laki ng outlet mall at SOBRANG MURA. i like it. :D tas one thing that's good in new jersey is that, wala silang tax sa mga binibili mong things sa mall, sa highways lang. kasi un ung state law nila. sila nga lang ung state na may ganung law e. galing. :D i was able to buy a cute skirt for only $4, sa forever 21 pa un ha. e kahit nga sa philippine standards, mura na un kasi may pagkamahal talaga sa forever 21. anyway, un. si kuya naman may nabiling shoes sa kenneth cole for $79. ang mura talaga. after shopping, we ate dinner. tas balik na sa hotel after.

MAY 17, WEDNESDAY. we went to new york. we left the hotel at 8'30am. and we arrived at new york by 9'30am. naabutan kasi kami ng rush hour kaya after one hour na kami nakarating dahil traffic sa licoln tunnel. aiun. we went to time square, tas international center of photography then the fashion designing school, trinity church, st paul chapel, empire state building, broadway avenue then for the last stop, statue of liberty. picture, picture bawat stop. :D siyempre, turista e. haha. :)) nung gabi, bumalik kaming magkakapatid sa outlet mall. para sa mas matagal na pagtitingin ng mga shops na pwedeng bilhan ng kung ano ano. bumili si ate ng 2 pants. ako naman, jacket na beaded. tas ate and i also bought pumps. sa sobrang mura.. $50 lang ung dalawa. color black ung pumps ko na may onting design, kay ate naman.. white. nag-enjoy na naman ako sa pag shop as usual. after shopping, dinner at balik na agad sa hotel.

MAY 18, THURSDAY. we went back to new york for the central park. madaming movies and stars na ginamit ung spot na un. examples of the movies were maid in manhattan, home alone 2 or 3 and the one i truly love, serendipity. the spot which the movie maid in manhattan used there was the mall monument and the gigantic stones near the skating rink. for home alone, they used the hotel and the fountains. and of course, the skating rink for the movie serendipity. we took a lot of pictures there. a lot, a lot. :D by 11am, we went back to the hotel for the check-out. and we hit the road back to our house. the ride was again so long, but i really enjoyed the trip. sobra. all the hard work of planning and waking up so freakin early had paid off. :)

I LOVE NEW YORK. :) because we visited new york, i had found my passion for learning both fashion designing and photography. :D actually, i had already started the photography part but the sketching for fashion designing might take a little more time. di pa masyadong nagbubloom ung side na un e. haha. :))

new york is just so wonderful as it is in pictures in our tv or movie screens. especially at night with all the bright lights and the very lively people around and of course, the surroundings. IT IS JUST AS NICE. believe me. :)
